What We Believe

Living Hope Ministries International is committed to biblical Christianity and seeks to express its beliefs positively, faithfully, and clearly directly from the Holy Scriptures.

"For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ."

— 1 Corinthians 3:11

Showing 12 Essential Biblical Doctrines

THE HOLY BIBLE

We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and the authoritative foundation for Christian faith, teaching, conduct, and hope.

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness."

— 2 Timothy 3:16

Additional Scriptures

THE TRIUNE GOD

We believe in one eternal God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is Creator, Redeemer, Sustainer, and Lord of all.

— Matthew 28:19

Additional Scriptures

Deuteronomy 6:4 2 Corinthians 13:14 Genesis 1:26

JESUS CHRIST

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. He lived a sinless life, died for our sins, was raised from the dead, ascended to heaven, and ministers on behalf of His people.

"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us."

— John 1:14

Additional Scriptures

John 1:1-3 Philippians 2:5-11 Hebrews 4:15 Acts 1:9-11

SALVATION BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH

We believe salvation is a gift of God's grace received through faith in Jesus Christ. No human being can earn salvation through works. Genuine faith produces repentance, obedience, love, and a transformed life.

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith... it is the gift of God."

— Ephesians 2:8

Additional Scriptures

John 3:16 Romans 3:23-24 Acts 4:12 Titus 3:5
5

THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe the Holy Spirit is divine and works in the life of every believer. He convicts people of sin, leads them to Christ, gives spiritual gifts, transforms character, and empowers believers for Christian witness and service.

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses."

— Acts 1:8

Additional Scriptures

John 14:16-17 John 16:8-13 Galatians 5:22-23 Ephesians 5:18

GOD'S LAW & CHRISTIAN LIFE

We believe God's moral law expresses His holy character and reveals His principles of love toward God and humanity. Salvation is by grace through faith, and obedience is the loving response of a redeemed life.

"If you love me, keep my commands."

— John 14:15

Additional Scriptures

Exodus 20:1-17 Matthew 22:37-40 Romans 3:31 1 John 5:3

THE RESURRECTION

We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ and in the future resurrection of the dead. Jesus' resurrection is the foundation of Christian hope. At His return, those who belong to Christ will be raised to eternal life.

"I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die."

— John 11:25

Additional Scriptures

1 Corinthians 15:20-23 1 Thess 4:13-18 John 5:28-29 Acts 24:15

THE LORD’S SUPPER

The Lord’s Supper is a sacred ordinance established by Jesus Christ as a beautiful expression of His unfailing love and His redeeming sacrifice for humanity. The bread represents His body, and the cup represents His blood of the new covenant, reminding us of the forgiveness, grace, and new life we receive through Him.

Through this sacred remembrance, we renew our faith in Christ, celebrate our unity as His followers, and proclaim His saving death until He comes again. The Lord’s Supper calls us to examine our hearts, extend forgiveness, love one another, and walk faithfully with our Lord.

"Do this in remembrance of me."

— Luke 22:19 (NIV)

CHRIST'S HEAVENLY MINISTRY

We believe that Jesus Christ ministers as our High Priest in the heavenly sanctuary. His sacrificial death is complete and sufficient for salvation, while His heavenly ministry applies the benefits of His atoning work and points believers toward the final restoration of all things.

"We have this hope as an anchor for the soul... It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf."
